CKSDC Dive Judge Training

There will only be two dive clinics to certify judges to officiate at the dual meets this season. These are mandatory every year, especially for all the dive coaches, unless someone has judged at a championship format dive meet in the past year at the high school, collegiate or USA level. The coaches meetings are also mandatory for all the dive coaches. Please get several people from every club to attend a judges clinic so no team runs into any trouble finding CKSDC approved judges at any of your meets. Keep in mind that people travel, get sick, or have other scheduling conflicts that come up to cause them to miss meets, so it's always better to have extra judges trained in case they are needed. The dive clinics were scheduled to coincide with the scheduled swim Stroke and Turn Trainings to make it easier for those who want to get certified in both to just go to one place on the same date. This year I will be adding a short training on working the dive table at meets at the end of the judges clinics. We will briefly go through each position at the table, and I will stick around to answer any questions. I want to make sure every team feels as prepared to run their meets as possible. Hello Coaches and Parent Representatives: An online training will be provided on Wednesday, May 25 at 6:00 for those who will be parent volunteers in the "Computer" position. Each team should have a minimum of 2, ideally 3-4 people trained on how to enter times and score the meet. Coaches are also welcome to join and the session will be recorded and made available for those who cannot attend on 5/25.
